Document Management Software

LogicalDOC allows users to easily collaborate through a web user interface. The application lets you achieve the following: sharing, setting security roles, auditing, and finding enterprise documents and registers.

Workflow

LogicalDOC provides the ability to schedule repetitive document management tasks using an internal Task Scheduler the administrators can configure directly from the browser.

Workflow automates repetitive processes to help create efficiency in operations. Providing a simple method to model your processes, LogicalDOC allows for advanced customisation of routing and management options. For each document you will be able to track the state where it is located in the current workflow, users can also receive notifications and reminders via email or through LogicalDOC.

Creating and managing workflow models can be done quite quickly through the administrators panel. LogicalDOC allows businesses to execute a number of tasks in parallel or in sequence, allow for multiple users to be assigned, and also allow for escalation management. can quickly create, manage, import/export workflow models with sophisticated events and processes, where any number of tasks can be executed in parallel or serial sequences of steps.

Integration

LogicalDOC is integrated into Office and Microsoft Outlook with an Add-in that can be installed on the PC. This allows you to open office documents stored in LogicalDOC directly into your Office application. Vice versa you can also save files directly into the document management system without leaving the Office application.

By doing this users can access document directly in the Office suite, can search document archives easily, and also not worry about version control as LogicalDOC manages versioning and check-out/check-in operations.

Microsoft Outlook integration allows uers to share stored documents with co-workers via email aswell as add documents to routing workflows for approval. Once in the workflow events and alerts can be managed from within LogicalDOC.

LogicalDOC provides extensive mobility of its solution whilst retaining security as a primary focus. LogicalDOC is available through a downloadable iOS or Android app. It can also be accessed through a web-based interface, so no App installation is required i.e. using the standard browser that it is available as standard on any mobile phone or tablet. That means you can access your data, your documents and control your workflow tasks on the go.

MS Office Integration

LogicalDOC integrates into the MS Office suite and allows you to preview, edit, and control versions easily and manage through the LogicalDOC interface. The LogicalDOC toolbar which is added to the Office suite lets you save files straight into LogicalDOC without requiring you to upload copies every time. You can also open documents from within LogicalDOC for easy search and find.

LogicalDOC Kofax bridge

You can automatically classify scanned documents into appropriate categories (e.g. customers, projects, etc) via a LogicalDOC Kofax bridge. The bridge allows you to map the tags and other metadata captured by Kofax Express during the scanning process with corresponding tags and properties in LogicalDOC.

Kofax Express provides a front-end that is ideal for capturing the documents that includes support for the identification of bar codes, conversion to searchable PDF and PDF/A format, image quality improvement, and the automatic separation of documents.

Integration

LogicalDOC allows for multiple ways to add documents to the management system. That includes drag and drop, as well as integrating to Google Drive and Dropbox. Other integration options incude: WordPress explorer, Joomla explorer, Microsoft Office Add-in, Microsoft Outlook Add-in, Google Drive, Zoho Docs, and Citrix ShareFile.

Easy Cloud Solution

LogicalDOC Cloud is the hosted version of LogicalDOC Enterprise and requires no server infrastructure. All you will need to connect to your LogicalDOC Cloud account is a modern (supported) Internet browser.

OCR

Optical Character Recognition allows you to turn paper documents into full-text searchable digital files and manage them within LogicalDOC.

LogicalDOC can extract text from images and raster PDFs scanned from your multi-funtion device. The OCR can also be enhanced with another powerful (optional) OCR module based on the Nuance® OmniPage® engine.

LogicalDOC Kofax bridge

LogicalDOC allows you to quickly retrieve documents and send them as e-mail attachments  by clicking on the send as email menu item.

There’s no need to code the recipients as LogicalDOC users, they can be simple email addresses. Users may choose the option send as download ticket. This allows recipients to receive a simple message containing a download link they may use to download the documents directly from LogicalDOC.
